Primitive Rug Hooking

Come join Tracy as she shows you the basics of rug hooking and shares the history of how the Pioneers designed and made the rugs for their homes. In this class we will be using a mixture of textured wools and strip widths to achieve the look of an Antique rug. Materials include: Hook, notebook, pencil, pattern on linen or monks cloth backing, hand dyed and off the bolt wool fabric, binding tape and instructional handouts. (12" Quilting hoop available to borrow or purchase for $20.00)
