The Jay County Visitor and Tourism Bureau exists to lead, support, and develop the Tourism industry by marketing Jay County to the traveling public in order to increase economic impact and improve this county's quality of life.

Whether you're planning a fun family trip or a historical getaway, let our warm, friendly atmosphere embrace and relax you. There's no better stop for families than Bearcreek Farms Country Resort, with its water park, shops, theatre, camping, and cottages.

Are you a history or cultural buff? The Museum of the Soldier, Jay County Historical Museum, and Dunkirk Glass Museum can offer insight on the local gas boom. The Underground Railroad Marker in Pennville is linked to the novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. Don't miss Arts Place, Bearcreek Farms, or Key Palace Theatre for great exhibits and live entertainment! The John Jay Center for Learning, housed in the former Weiler Building, is a gloriously restored tribute to the architecture of the 1920s.

Wildlife and outdoor recreation aficionados will love the nature preserves and walking trails abundant throughout the county. Visit the Bibler Preserve, Loblolly Marsh or many of our parks for a gentle exploration of nature. Don't forget the gorgeous Portland Golf Club if you'd rather walk the links.
